Nyame Adom Foundation of America (NAFofA) is a non-profit non-governmental organization (NGO). We are a non-profit corporation with 501(c)(3) status with the United States Internal Revenue Service. All donations to NAFofA are tax deductible. Our mission is to help vulnerable orphans in Ghana, West Africa. Currently we have 11 children in our home. Most of our children are orphans due to the AIDS epidemic. NAFofA's mission is to teach our children how to become self-reliant and self-sustaining. Our home has a farm for growing fruits and vegetables where the children learn the basics of farming. Additionally, after graduating from Junior Secondary School, grade 9, the children will go to a vocational school to learn a trade or onto an academic high school. Which school they attend is determined by the results of the national test given at the end of grade 9.
